DYES SILICAS
DYES SILICAS grades include special precipitated silicas and silicates aimed to the Paint and Coating Industry . They can be used as titanium dioxide partial replacement , thickening/thixotropic additive and matting agents in decorative, enamel and emulsion paints , printing inks, solvent based coatings , resins, gel coats , adhesives, sealants , traffic paints and lacquers .
DS AS-150 : is a synthetic silicate with a very fine particle size , a medium oil absorption and excellent whiteness. It is designed to act as partial replacement of titanium dioxide in decorative and emulsion paints. Its properties allow to improve and enhance hiding power , abrasion resistance , also provides better stability in storage , UV protection and settling control .
DS GS-300 : is a precipitated silica used as thickening agent and rheological additive in coatings, resins, sealants, adhesive systems among others .In addition DS GS-300 enhances thixotropic index in coatings due to its large surface area and high oil absorption capacity .
DS GS 3000 : is an advanced performance silica developed to work as partial replacement of fumed silicas . due to its controlled particle size and high structure , this grade offers rheology and thixotropy control in liquid systems , binders , polymers and wide range of applications .
DS MS-300 : is a synthetic silica used as matting agent whitout surface treatment, which provides a flat effect on applied film with soft texture and excellent appearance .
DS MS-300's particles form a micro-rough surface on the dry film, when solvents evaporate, reducing the film thickness , which disperses light rays on the surface of coatings .
